You can enjoy wonderful walks or bike rides along the Geul River, with the flatter routes through the valleys or the use of an e-bike making it even more comfortable. For a relaxing afternoon, settle down at one of the many outdoor cafes in Gulpen’s historic center, known for the traditional Gulpener Brewery. Want to explore the region in a unique way? Then take a nostalgic ride on the Miljoenenlijn, a steam train that takes you through the breathtaking landscape. You can also easily reach Thermae 2000 in Valkenburg for a day of wellness, or enjoy a visit to the weekly antique and flea markets in the nearby villages.
